Located near downtown Durham, this industrial chic venue features an open vendor policy, on site parking, and spaces for cocktail hours, silent auctions, keynote speakers, and dinner receptions. The Durham Exchange makes it easy to create a customized gala experience that inspires generosity and community connection. 

With its white brick walls, warm market lights, and open layout, our venue complements any decor style and requires minimal setup to look amazing.

Event RATES

Our pricing ranges from per hour, depending on the time of the year.

  • Three different event duration options
    (5 hours, 7 hours, or 10 hours)
  • 80 white padded folding chairs
  • Ten (10) 60-inch round tables
  • Eight (8) 6-foot rectangular tables
  • Use of our new audio system, projector, and wireless microphones
  • Payment plans
  • 1-hour ceremony rehearsal 1-2 days prior to your event
  • Access to two private suites (optional/additional)
  • Use of our lobby, porch, and multi-purpose room
  • Market lights strung in main venue space ($800 value)
  • Onsite, remote, and street parking for guests
  • Time to set up, decorate, clean up, and break down for your event occurs within your purchased timeframe
  • Onsite manager for building-related needs
  • Caterer's prep kitchenette
  • Unlimited walkthroughs with loved ones and vendors
  • Open vendor policy

Renter Responsibilities

In addition to our rental fee, you are responsible for:

Alcohol

If you choose to serve alcohol, you are responsible for hiring a licensed and insured bartender.

Event insurance

For every event, you are responsible for purchasing event insurance for the day of your wedding.

PET & SECURITY insurance

You are responsible for a security fee for all events with a scheduled end time of 10pm or later.

You are responsible for a pet fee (dogs only allowed) for each individual pet brought into the venue.
